Visiting PhD student Marilia Pupo, Instituto de Tecnologia e Pesquisa (ITP)-Brasil

Msc Marilia Pupo obtained her Environmental Engineering degree from Universidade Tiradentes (Brazil, 2010). She then enrolled in a Process Engineering Master Program at Universidade Tiradentes focusing her research on the development of new nanomaterials for application in fuel cells obtaining her title in 2014. Shortly after she was admitted in a PhD program in the same institution,  at the Instituto de Tecnologia e Pesquisa (ITP), where she has been developing research on synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for electrochemical water treatment applications.

Marilia is currently visiting the Catalan Institute of Water Research under the supervision of Dr. Jelena Radjenovic, (http://electron4water.com/team) and collaborating with the project (reportagem extraída do Catalan Institute of Water Research).  Dr. Jelena Radjenovic research is focused on the development of electrochemical water treatment systems, nanoadsorbents and nano-engineered biotreatment systems
